What is Dermal Papilla?

Dermal Papilla is a tiny, ball-shaped cluster of cells that sits at the very bottom of the hair follicle. It acts as the command center for hair growth by sending signals and delivering nutrients directly to the growing hair strand.

Think of it as the root system of a plant, but for your hair. Most people miss this: The dermal papilla is the only part of the entire follicle that contains blood vessels, making it the direct lifeline for your hair.
