Surprisingly, even clear “gloss” treatments count as color services because they use similar chemical processes to reshape the hair’s surface.

Most people don’t realize that a single coloring session permanently changes your hair’s structure. Once you color it, your hair requires specialized care for its entire growth cycle.

Why Color-Treated Hair Loses Its Shine Faster
