Bleaching Knots on Different Hair Textures

Coarse hair knots absorb bleach slower than fine knots, needing thicker bleach applications. Imagine pouring water on sponge (coarse) versus paper (fine) – density changes absorption speed. I customize bleach formulas based on hair type porosity tests during consultations.

For high-porosity extensions, I dilute bleach with conditioner. This prevents over-processing while still lightening effectively. Never use the same formula on virgin and processed hair.
