When Bleached Knots Fight Back: The Orange Disaster

Knots turn brassy when bleach isn’t left long enough to fully penetrate. Think of melanin in knots like an onion – stopping early leaves orange layers intact. 80% of my clients’ “failed” bleached knots simply needed 5 more minutes processing time before toning.
